Land for Klamath Tribes identified

The Klamath Tribes and U.S. Forest Service officials have mutually agreed upon a specific parcel of Fremont-Winema National Forest land that will be returned to the Tribes if Senate Bill 133, the Klamath Basin Water Recovery and Economic Restoration Act of 2015, is enacted by Congress this year.

OIT falls to Kentucky in softball World Series

Lindsey Wilson College of Kentucky scored four runs in the top of the first inning, and added two runs in the second, to take an 8-0 lead and eliminated Oregon Tech from the NAIA Softball World Series Wednesday with an 8-1 victory.

KCC budget gets boost from grants

Takata air bag recall doubles; here's the list

Big Valley ambulance district effort falls short

Efforts to create an ambulance service district in the Big Valley area of Modoc and Lassen counties fell short by four votes. Although 66.1 percent of the voters approved the district’s formation in the special election, the measure narrowly failed because it required a two-thirds voters approval.

Drivers in New Jersey could soon pump their own gas under a bill being introduced in the Assembly. Under current law residents are not permitted to pump their own gas.
